Harley -- Post 04 - Recipes?

*Harley's in his kitchen, a thick book on the counter near him, and although he's washed up a bit, he's still got a bit of dust, and some blood, on his t-shirt. He looks to be unharmed, though -- it isn't his.*

*a slight frown to himself, flipping the thick book closed again as he looks up to the Dreamberry camera*

All right... This book isn't helping. Does anyone know how to cook up a sand shark, from that desert outside the city?

*guess who managed to hunt a baby sand shark thing!*

[Not what Schrodinger was expecting, but...] A horse?! [That explains outrunning the shark, but what about the scorch marks. He turns a suspicious eye to Harley.] And what about the burn marks on the shark?

As a horse, you place burnt marks on the shark? How? Stop being so vague.

Yes I burned it as a horse. I just... I don't know how to explain it. I just put out a horn and did it.

*well, this is a fine change of mood.*

*he eyes Schrodinger again. He really hadn't intended to upset or annoy the kid, and it wasn't his fault that he couldn't explain how agi worked... and he'd seen Schrodinger's power to appear places firsthand, even if he still didn't know just how the kid did it.*

*and really, fair was fair, right?*

Show me? [Gets Excited] Okay!

[Even though it sounded weird and still made no sense to him, Schrodinger was always up for seeing new things or things he didn't understand clearly.]

*oh god, you're just encouraging him. XD*

*he puts the last of his current slice of meat in his mouth, and sets the knife on the shark... and takes a step back from the kid...*

*...and that tattoo-looking thing on the back of his left hand? It glows around the edges, a bright orange to match his hair and eyes, sending little streaks, neon lines that crawl quickly across his darkening skin in an almost circuit board-like pattern, until a soft white glow covers him, and he changes...*

*The glow dies down quickly enough again, but instead of revealing the orange-haired human, something else is standing there. Something with soft white hide covered in black tiger stripes. Something bipedal, with two hooves to stand on, and a chest obscured by... what were those, shields of some kind? Wings tucked around his front? It was hard to say. Above that, a long neck... and the head was surely why Harley might have tried to call it a horse. Or was it more like a raptor, in skull shape? But the ears... the mane...*

*....the mane... looked like someone had been playing with it, actually. Whatever intimidation factor this huge creature might've had, standing at something like ten feet tall, was well enough negated by all the big pink bows adorning the braids in its mane.*

*Thank you, Rise. Always trust a playful young teenage girl who likes horses to make one "all pretty", right?*

[Staring at him, but mainly at the pink bows. Did he have those before? But in any case, he never expected Harley would transform into something like this.]

Now I understand. [Though he never saw anything like, Schrodinger was able to stay pretty calm.] But what's with the bows?

*he twists his head back a bit, to take a look for himself... and snorts, rolling his eyes.*

Rise did that. *He's smiling, though.* She said it looked nice that way.

Well, it's hard to be intimidated by you with pink bows in your mane, at least, people wouldn't be too afraid of you.
