Well... I went to this little place with someone, once-- *and his grin fades a bit, becoming more thoughtful. He misses that someone still.* ....and there was something in the display counter called cheesecake. And he said it was cheese, shaped like a cake, so that's why they called it that.
So I figured, if you could have cheese shaped like a cake, why not bacon shaped like a cake too? ....so I messed around in the kitchen. It's mostly bacon meat inside, and eggs to hold it together... and some cheese melted on top to look like the frosting. And it's baked in the oven so it doesn't just get flat and messed-up looking in the pan on the stove. And I figured, since it wouldn't show on the outside, and the whole thing was kind of a big omelet anyway, it might be good to put mushrooms and tomatoes and stuff inside it too. And it really is good like that. *in other words, it's a meaty quiche-thing?*
....I could let you know next time I make one, if you want to try it? Which'll probably be... *another glance out the window at the shark in the back yard* ...um... the day after tomorrow or something?
