*answers, in the kitchen and cooking again -- taking something out of the oven. Looks like a round cake pan, only it's got... who knows what that is, in it. There's another such thing sitting on the counter already, covered in melted cheese, with a slice taken out of it, cross-section revealing a darn lot of bacon and egg. And mushroom and.... is that a bacon-laden quiche of some kind?*

*looks around the kitchen. Sure he spilled a little cheese, and the trash can is full of bacon wrappers, with Noireau eyeing it and the pan still on the stove... but that's not really out of the ordinary, for their lil household.*

*quiet still, not saying anything for just a moment.... forget standing up in the kitchen, he'll sit down on the floor against the counter where he is, and pull the puppy up into his lap*

*eyeing the phone... checks the contact list, and sighs. He's going to hug the puppy closer, now that he's confirmed it and it's starting to sink in.*

*quieter again* No one stays awake forever, right? He'll have to go back to sleep sometime.

I just have to keep doing like he was doing with her, right? Don't feed her too much human food, and don't let her get away with causing trouble? Make sure she behaves, and take her for walks? I'm sure Rise'll help...

*little pause... seems to get some other idea, and quickly checks the contacts list again, only to relax after he does. Good, Rise was still here!*

*about to say something else, and finds himself wiping his eyes again. He eyes the tears that got on his fingers, and frowns a little, mumbling to himself* ...stupid leaking...
